Indian VETO.

The biggest power that an Indian citizen has is to VOTE. Each and every vote counts. Mine too.

We have to vote for people and choose them our leaders who are no good than us except for their uncanny ability listen tons of things against themselves and being about a million times more evil than we possibly think they actually are. Elections are meant for people to choose their representative but according to "the people" they won't vote for a person:

(a) Whom they don't know personally and aren't assured whether they'd get their relatives transferred if they ask them to.
(b) Who won't give you about 10 liters of the worse quality liquor to drink before elections.
(c) Who won't meet you personally for about 3 times before the elections.
(d) And if you've seen enough of "good politics", those who didn't give you more money than the opponent to buy your vote are no good for the voters.
(e) Who is educated; as if s/he is, s/he has only stayed in closed gate rooms mugging up and s/he doesn't know a shit about the problems of "the most important common man".
(f) Who does not posses a big army of "gundas" as if s/he doesn't have that army, its impossible for them to cope in politics and as we all know, common man does not like "losers in any sense whatsoever."

Now if a candidate meets all those requirements, its not enough for them to get the vote of people. People are very wise. This is the only time they can use the politicians for their own good and they thoroughly make up for the last 5 years from each and every candidate who is contesting. They make use of each and every opportunity.

And in the the end they very wisely choose a candidate who is of their own cast. Because he/she is their brother/sister by caste and you cannot betray your family for anything. Anything.
