2009

This is a big year.
This is the biggest year.
This one is just mammoth.
Do I need to say anything else?

Empty Glasses, Empty Hearts. They Fail to Fill Life.

As my friend pointed out, their emptiness bars the need of words.
Mujh Se Bichhad Kar Khush Rahte Ho
Meri Tarah Tum Bhi Jhoothe Ho

Ek Tahni Pe Chaand Tika Tha
Main Ye Samjha Tum Baithe Ho

Ujle Ujle Phool Khile The
Bilkul Jaise Tum Hanste Ho

Mujhko Shaam Bata Deti Hai
Tum Kaise Kapde Pahane Ho

Tum Tanha Duniya Se Ladoge
Bachchon Si Baatien Karte Ho

The DROG Is BACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

What a return, what a goal, what a savior he is for Chelsea Fans. He comes off the bench with 30 minutes remaining and the team desperately needing a goal to secure their place in the knockout and the team needing something they haven't done for the whole season. The team needing a goal after 65 minutes to get a win. And then he gets everybody moving with his skills, tremendous power, perfect positioning and some perfectly timed runs. Result is a goal of the month for me. Brilliant run, exquisite control and the most clinical of finish that too under pressure from two defenders. This is Didier Drogba. One of THE most important players in the squad. One of the greatest players to have played for Chelsea. One of the players who'll go in the all time greats list for the club. Truly Mesmerizing display of football for 30 minutes. I couldn't have asked for more from him. You can't ask anything from him. He always gives you more than you could possibly hope for. Hail The Drog.

p.s. I hated him two weeks ago for bieng in talks with Mourinho over a possible transfer to Inter. :))

:)

If I'd lost a goalkeeper, or a full-back, it wouldn't be so much of a problem because I have four others to use as replacements. But I lost a player in Michael Essien who can play in five positions, so he is like losing five players. Luiz Phillipe Scolari

Indian VETO.

The biggest power that an Indian citizen has is to VOTE. Each and every vote counts. Mine too.

We have to vote for people and choose them our leaders who are no good than us except for their uncanny ability listen tons of things against themselves and being about a million times more evil than we possibly think they actually are. Elections are meant for people to choose their representative but according to "the people" they won't vote for a person:

(a) Whom they don't know personally and aren't assured whether they'd get their relatives transferred if they ask them to.
(b) Who won't give you about 10 liters of the worse quality liquor to drink before elections.
(c) Who won't meet you personally for about 3 times before the elections.
(d) And if you've seen enough of "good politics", those who didn't give you more money than the opponent to buy your vote are no good for the voters.
(e) Who is educated; as if s/he is, s/he has only stayed in closed gate rooms mugging up and s/he doesn't know a shit about the problems of "the most important common man".
(f) Who does not posses a big army of "gundas" as if s/he doesn't have that army, its impossible for them to cope in politics and as we all know, common man does not like "losers in any sense whatsoever."

Now if a candidate meets all those requirements, its not enough for them to get the vote of people. People are very wise. This is the only time they can use the politicians for their own good and they thoroughly make up for the last 5 years from each and every candidate who is contesting. They make use of each and every opportunity.

And in the the end they very wisely choose a candidate who is of their own cast. Because he/she is their brother/sister by caste and you cannot betray your family for anything. Anything.
