Is This True????

Is There Anything as of "The Soul Of Universe"?????????

..thousands of desires, each worth dying for... many of them I have realized...yet I yearn for more...

Hazaaron khwahishein aisi,
ki har khwahish pe dum nikle,
bahut nikle mere armaan,
lekin phir bhi kam nikle.

Nikalna khuld se aadam ka,
sunte aaye hain lekin,
bahut be-abroo ho kar,
tere kooche se hum nikle.

Mohabbat mein nahi hai,
farq jeene aur marne ka,
ussi ko dekh kar jeete hain,
jis kaafir pe dum nikle.

Khuda ke vaaste,
pardaah na kaabe se uthha zaalim,
kahin aisa na ho yaan bhi,
wohi kaafir sanam nikle.

Kahaan maikhaane ka darwaaza Ghalib,
aur kahaan waaiz,
par itna jaante hain kal,
woh jaata tha ki hum nikle.

Hazaaron khwahishein aisi,
ki har khwahish pe dum nikle,
bahut nikle mere armaan,
lekin phir bhi kam nikle.

Truth is much bettter than we assume it to be...

Just sometime ago I read this song by Mary Hopkins on our alumni notice board that made me feel what I haven't felt yet. Everyday since then I read the song and llisten the song and promise to me that whatever happens I will not let this poem to come true in my life..... But who knows... one who wrote this might also be thinking the same thig when he/she was young. Whatever the case maybe I don't give a damn to it. The only thing is know is that if there exists certain things that you love and hate simultaneously, this song's gonna top mine list for dat..

Here is the Song:
Once upon a time there was a tavern
Where we used to raise a glass or two
Remember how we laughed away the hours
And dreamed of all the great things we would do
Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way.
Those were the days
Then the busy years went rushing by us
We lost our starry notions on the way
If by chance I'd see you in the tavern
We'd smile at one another and we'd say
Those were the days my friend
Just tonight I stood before the tavern
Nothing seemed the way it used to be
In the glass I saw a strange reflection
Was that lonely man really me
Those were the days my friend
Through the door there came familiar laughter
I saw your face and heard you call my name
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same
Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
